Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is highly contagious and usually presents like a common cold. However, it can also cause more serious respiratory illness and can lead to complications in older adults, such as pneumonia. It can be fatal.
Here at AusTrials, we are running a clinical study testing a new vaccine which may prevent RSV infection in older adults.
The study involves visits to our dedicated research facilities, along with scheduled telephone contacts.
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- 60 years of age or older
Eligible participants will receive vaccinations free of charge and will be paid for their time and effort.
The study is being conducted at the following locations:
- Taringa, QLD
- Wellers Hill, QLD
- Morayfield, QLD
