Clinical Study Details
Osteoarthritis is a chronic disease in which loss of joint cartilage leads to inflammation, pain, stiffness, and decreased mobility. Many adults suffer with pain and dysfunction related to osteoarthritis of the knee.
Here at AusTrials, we are testing an investigational intra-articular (in the joint) injection that intends to decrease pain and improve physical function for adults with osteoarthritis of the knee.
You may be eligible for this study if you:
- Are between 40 and 80 years of age
- Have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee(s)
- Have been taking pain medication for your osteoarthritis for at least 6 months
The study is being conducted at the following location:
- Taringa, QLD
The study will involve eleven scheduled clinic visits completed over six months.
Eligible participants will be compensated for their time and travel-related costs.
